Ethio-Engineering Group (EEG) is a Governmental business enterprise re-established in September 2020 under the FDRE Council of Ministers regulation No. 475/2020.

The main purpose of the re-establishment of the Group is to enable it to play a leading role in the development of heavy industries in the country towards meeting the national vision of transforming to an industrial-led economy.

EEG is, therefore, engaged, among others, in the manufacturing and trading of automotive products, agricultural machineries, construction machineries, power and electronics equipment, metal and metal products, and plastic and polymer products.

Ethio-Engineering Group operates under free-market norms and standards, with special commitments to enable domestic and foreign investors to enjoy partnership and cooperation.

Currently, it has seven subsidiary industries that have their own manufacturing facilities in different parts of the country.
