Cheshire Ethiopia (CE) is a pioneer non-governmental organization specialized in Disability and Development, officially registered as a Local Civil Society Organization. Since its establishment in 1962, CE has been dedicated to providing rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities in Ethiopia. Cheshire Ethiopia (CE) was established in 1962 by the grand Children of the late Emperor Haile Selassie and with technical support of Captain Leonard Cheshire. CE is a local independent NGO, staffed by Ethiopians and registered as an Ethiopian Resident Charity, while playing a leading role in physical rehabilitation of persons with disabilities.
