Founded in 2004 in Shashemene town, Paradise Valley College began its journey with a primary
school Teachers Training Institute (TTI) program at the certificate level. Over the years, the college has grown and evolved to meet the educational needs of the community and beyond. We have expanded our academic offerings to include TVET programs, bachelor’s degrees, and master’s degrees across the social, health, and technology faculties.
Our growth is reflected not only in academics but also in our physical presence, as we have
expanded from our original campus in Shashemene to include locations in Adama, Dilla,
Hawasa, Arba Minch, Hosanna, Wolaita Sodo, and Negele Borena. To accommodate diverse
learning needs, we offer programs in regular, extension, and distance modalities, making
education accessible for all. At Paradise Valley College, we are dedicated to shaping the future
by empowering our students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in their careers and
